The only way is down

I had a very pleasing weigh-in at fat club this week.

I have lost another 3 and a half pounds…… yippie!! That means a total weight so far of 15 and a half pounds, (7 kilos).

Last week I gained 1 pound and didn’t really want to share that news online as I was not feeling too chuffed about it.

Now I’ve achieved my 1 stone target, I’m on to my 10% target and that’s only another 2 and a half pounds now.

I am desperate to buy some new clothes but I need to wait until I’ve reached my target weight. It’ll be more satisfying then I think.

Back on track

This week I went back to Weight Watchers after a week off for the bank holiday.

I’ve lost another 2 pounds, which totals 13 pounds so far. I wish I’d lost 1 more pound then I’d have reached my 1 stone target.

I also worked out my body mass index, (BMI) since I’ve started at fat club it’s gone from 29 to 26.9, which is really good so far.

When I’ve lost 5 more pounds I’d have lost 10% of my starting body weight, then I can set my goal weight that’s between BMI 20 and 25.

I must say I’ve started noticing a difference now in my clothes and my body shape. My love handles, muffin top and bingo wings are all disappearing  nicely and it’s really encouraging.

Also well done to my friend Deb who lost another 2 pounds.

Don’t want to play anymore

I must admit I’m getting a little despondent about fat club. Last week at weigh-in I gained 1 pound, that doesn’t probably doesn’t sound like much but Weight Watchers state in their bumph that if you follow the eating plan you are guaranteed to steadily lose weight.

I discussed this weight gain with our group leader and she went through all the usual suspects like; is my period due, (I had a total hysterectomy in 1997..so no), I’ve gone over my extra pro points, I’ve not tracked my food properly or miscalculated the point value of my food.

I informed her that none of the above applied and I’d done nothing differently than the weeks I’d lost weight. I am extremely anal about weighing and measuring my food, I write down everything I eat and track my pro points to within an inch of their lives!

Our leader then said to go home and go over what I’d written for the week and maybe something will jump out at me where I  might have gone wrong, needless to say I didn’t find anything.

This week, after a week similar to all the others I’ve had since starting Weight Watchers, I lost 1 and a half pounds.

I felt so demoralised last week I couldn’t even write a post about the weigh-in like I normally do. I am encouraged by this weeks weight loss, but really it is only half a pound because I needed to lose the pound I gained last week.

Next week is Bank holiday so there is no fat club, maybe that’s a good thing, I think I need a break from the weigh-in.

Down by 5%

This weeks weigh-in at fat club was much better than last week. I lost 2 and a half pounds which means I have lost 10 pounds in total.

I’ve reached my first target of 5% weight loss and now I’ve got my next target of 10% in my sights. After that I can set my final goal weight.

 

Also we have a new group leader who seems determined to whip us up into a Weight Watchers weight loss frenzy! She is much more dynamic than the last one and full of energy and good ideas.  She focused this week on tracking our Propoints consumption so that we don’t eat too much without realising it. I am a bit anal about writing down what I eat and I also have a note book fetish, so it’s win win for me.

So this week I’m a much happier bunny and feeling very proud of myself.

The weekly weigh-in was not good for me this week.

I stayed the same weight again, even though I followed the damn diet to the letter.

I will continue however, partly because I’ve already paid for next months pass and partly because I don’t like to throw in the towel on anything.

Hopefully I’ll have better results next week to report.

Well done to my friend Debbie again, she lost 2 and a half pounds this week.

My Silver seven

I’ve had a much more satisfactory week at fat club this week. At the weigh-in I lost another 1 and half pounds, making that a 7 and half pound weight loss in 5 weeks and I’ve gained a silver seven award for losing half a stone.

At the meeting our leader asked us to share our long term goals for weight loss. I said that I just wanted to get back into size 12 clothes again, I’m sure then I’d be happier with my body.

This week I feel a lot more positive about reaching my goal, especially after last weeks disappointment at staying the same weight as the week before.

My lovely friend next door, Debbie, who is also my fat club buddy lost 3 and a half pounds, so very well done to her as well.

Not such a good week

This weeks weigh-in at fat club was a bit disappointing for me, I stayed the same weight as last week.

I don’t understand it as I have followed the diet and I’ve had only one just one transgression, an Indian takeaway,(only ate half), at my brother’s house.

My group leader has tried to reassure me that this is not a big deal and I’ll probably lose weight again next week, but at the moment I don’t believe her.

I’ll just try to keep positive and carry on counting the points and see what next weeks weigh-in brings.

 

In the right direction

Just got back from this weeks weigh-in at fat club and I’ve lost 1 and a half pounds.

I must admit at first I was a little disappointed as felt I had lost more and it seemed a very small loss. But my group leader reassured me that it’ll stay off  better if I lose the weight gradually.

So in total I’ve lost 6 pounds, that’s nearly half a stone, so I should be very pleased with myself.

The story so far

I’ve had my weekly weigh-in at fat club and I’ve lost 4 and a half pounds in my first week.

I must say I’ve found following the Weight Watchers diet very easy so far and I wish I’d done it earlier.

Lets hope it all continues to go well and I don’t get despondent and give up.

Fat be gone

Due to being ill and being inactive as a result of my illness I’ve become a bit too lardy for my liking. I have always tried to eat healthily but I must be doing something wrong as I’m much bigger than I want to be.

So I’ve joined Weight watchers and now everything I eat will have a point value. It all looks pretty straight forward and our group leader says we are guaranteed to lose weight if we follow the rules.

So the first thing I did when I got home from the ritual weigh-in was to set up my “fat journal”, in it I wrote all the food I usually eat and worked out how many points I would normally eat. I am allowed 26 points a day, which doesn’t sound like much but it’s actually quite a lot of food according to my Weight watchers bible.

Also in my fat destroying action plan is to become more active, I know I wrote about this in the blog a little while ago, but I just haven’t got round to it yet. As well as ballet classes, I have also found jazz dance and tap dance classes that look promising, the first step is to get off my bum and do it.  I want to see how I get on with working before I completely wear myself by adding in exercise.
